What You'll Do:
As a Risk Governance Manager (m/f/d) in Frankfurt, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the organisation’s reputation by ensuring that all aspects of risk governance are meticulously managed. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with colleagues across various departments to maintain robust control processes while adapting quickly to evolving regulatory landscapes. You will be responsible for facilitating key committee meetings, managing critical documentation related to policies and procedures, coordinating operational risk activities within the function, and acting as a central point of contact for both internal stakeholders and external regulators. Your ability to analyse complex processes critically will enable you to identify areas for enhancement while your communication skills will help you build strong working relationships throughout the business. - Maintain and enhance the Risk Governance Framework by overseeing the Risk Inventory and Risk Strategy, including risk appetite statements and policy management.
- Organise and facilitate senior Risk Committee meetings while ensuring consistent rollout of governance frameworks across Finance, Front Office, and other key functions.
- Monitor regulatory developments in Germany relevant to risk management; ensure full compliance with local requirements through effective oversight of projects and close liaison with Compliance and Finance teams.
- Coordinate outsourcing controls by monitoring service level agreements with other entities and escalating breaches where necessary to protect organisational interests.
- Act as Operational Risk Coordinator for the Risk Function by conducting controls testing and supporting ongoing improvements in operational resilience.
- Manage relationships with German regulators on all risk-related matters, serving as a trusted point of contact for external stakeholders.
- Oversee consolidated Risk Management Information (MI) reporting for the entity by liaising with global reporting teams and producing ad-hoc reports for senior leadership as required.
- Support chief administrative office activities such as budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and general business management for the Risk team.
- Lead or participate in department presentations, set up governance committees, perform gap analyses, drive smaller projects or initiatives, and support ad-hoc requests to strengthen the overall risk governance framework.

- Superior time management abilities will help you balance multiple conflicting demands under pressure without compromising quality or accuracy.
