SIEM Specialist (m/f/d)

About the Team Join the Information Security team of a fully regulated bank based in Frankfurt. The team ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, identifies and mitigates security risks, and collaborates across functions to maintain a strong security posture.

About the Role

As a SIEM Specialist (m/f/d), you will enhance and manage SIEM capabilities within the 2nd Line of Defense to detect malicious activity and meet regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, implementing, and optimizing SIEM use cases and rules.
• Collaborating with teams and vendors to implement solutions.
• Conducting regular risk assessments and testing alerts.
• Analyzing threats to adjust SIEM strategies.
• Supporting incident response and driving continuous improvement of the SIEM system
• You will report directly to the Information Security Officer.

About You

• At least 3 years of experience in a SIEM role.
• Proficiency in Azure Sentinel or similar tools.
• Knowledge of ISO27001, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST frameworks, MARISK, and DORA regulations.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP or CCSP.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and teamwork abilities.
• Fluency in English; B1-level German proficiency is required.
