Successful development of digital media products with an interim team

Background

Our client, a renowned provider in the digital media sector, faced the demanding task of relaunching its diverse range of products across various platforms, including websites, apps, and podcasts, using state-of-the-art technology. The goal was to ensure consistent product quality, appealing aesthetics, high user-friendliness, and optimal user experience for both iOS and Android platforms. Additionally, comprehensive rebranding and the establishment of various platforms were planned.

Approach

To tackle this challenge, Robert Walters assembled a specialized team of interim managers, including software mobile architects, iOS and Android app developers, frontend and full-stack developers, and an interim marketing analyst. This interim team was responsible for the entire process from conception through launch to post-launch support, operating within a cloud-based environment.

Given the challenge of attracting IT professionals for permanent positions, Robert Walters leveraged its extensive experience and close relationship with the client to assemble the appropriate interim management team. Collaboration took place at both the CIO and team leader levels, as well as on the operational front.
