Jorie Schultz appointed as HR Director Robert Walters Germany

Starting January 2022, Jorie Schultz will become the new HR Director at Robert Walters Germany. Schultz, who has been working for Robert Walters since 2017 and is currently HR Director Benelux, will combine her new role in Germany with her current responsibilities as HR Director at Robert Walters Netherlands.

Schultz studied industrial and organisational psychology at the Radboud University Nijmegen before attaining a PhD in electronic data interchange from the Delft University of Technology. Since, she has worked for a wide range of companies in a variety of HR roles, ranging from learning and development to compensation and benefits. She also has experience working in HR in Germany in a previous role as director international human resources with musical theatre production company Stage Entertainment. Schultz:

I’m very much looking forward to working with all my new colleagues. There is lots of ambition in the German offices and a lot of energy, and I’m excited to help Robert Walters Germany grow further.

Thomas Hartenfels, director of Robert Walters Düsseldorf comments: “It’s the right time to further professionalise our HR department. Besides our ambitious growth plans, we’re rolling out projects in the fields of digitalization, diversity & inclusion, remote working and employee engagement. Jorie’s experience in these fields will be of great added value and will contribute directly to fulfil our corporate purpose of maximising candidate centricity, customer focus and employee satisfaction.”

Schultz will initially focus on growing the German HR team, followed by assisting the growth of Robert Walters Germany overall by constructing and implementing more structured processes, while at the same time safeguarding the current informal atmosphere. “Even though the organisation will be growing, we are aiming to keep in place all the benefits of a small company such as our flexibility and short lines of communication“, says Schultz.

Christelle Tisserand, currently HR Director for Robert Walters France, will additionally take over Schultz’s role as HR Director Belgium.
