14.02.2024 – Thomas Hartenfels is taking over the role of Senior Director South with immediate effect and is thus responsible for the Robert Walters Germany offices in Dusseldorf, Cologne, and Frankfurt am Main. With this strategic decision, the international recruitment consultancy Robert Walters is sharpening its focus while optimising its portfolio and service in the Rhine, Main, Ruhr and Southern Germany regions.
With over 15 years of experience in the HR consulting industry, Thomas Hartenfels is an accomplished HR expert who specialises in projects in the areas of transformation, innovation and digitalisation. He has been Director of the Dusseldorf office of Robert Walters since 2016. He expanded this role in 2019 by taking over the Cologne office management. He is currently expanding his area of responsibility and is now also taking on the management of the Frankfurt office.
"With the consolidation of the South Region consisting of Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and Cologne, we are striving to present our offering in a more targeted manner and thus offer our clients and candidates an even more valuable service", explains Thomas Hartenfels.
In today's world of work, recruitment consultancies need to focus on specific niches, as general approaches are often no longer sufficient. Creative and targeted strategies are required to succeed in a highly competitive market. In this context, Robert Walters has recognised the need to adapt and develop specialised recruiting methods.
Within its core competences in specialist and executive recruitment, Robert Walters has taken a targeted approach to attracting candidates. One focus is on customised recruitment campaigns, particularly in the areas of diversity and sustainability sourcing.
Robert Walters has also expanded its offering to include market intelligence services that provide data-driven analyses of salaries, benefits, market conditions, competitive analysis and talent mapping.
"For me, data-based recruiting is one of the future fields of recruiting. There is still great potential for efficiency gains here. With the help of our market data, our customers can organise their recruitment in a well-founded and market-oriented way. An invaluable asset for sustainable talent acquisition", says Hartenfels.
The common focus of all locations in the restructured South region, which Thomas Hartenfels heads, is on targeted recruitment in the key areas of Finance & Accounting, Banking & Financial Services, Sales & Marketing, Interim Management and IT. The need for flexible and specialised professionals in these sectors is reflected in the global economy, which is constantly changing due to technological innovations, market volatility and the increasing importance of digital finance methods. Robert Walters responds to these trends with customised, forward-thinking recruitment strategies that are tailored to both regional market diversity and the individual needs of clients and candidates.
