11.07.2023 - The internationally active personnel consultancy Robert Walters continues its expansion course and extends its service portfolio at the Berlin location. By expanding its strategic consulting services to include interim management, the company is responding to the growing demand for flexible staffing solutions in the capital.
Fabian Menzel, with more than 11 years of experience in personnel consulting, strengthens the management team at the Berlin location with his extensive know-how in interim management. Previously, he played a key role in setting up the finance and non-finance division of an internationally active personnel service provider and therefore has extensive expertise in the placement of highly qualified interim managers. "I am looking forward to helping companies in this dynamic city to react quickly and flexibly to their staffing needs. In particular, I am excited by the opportunity to create sustainable added value for our clients and candidates together with our team," says Menzel. "Together we will expand our position as a reliable partner in the Berlin location and support companies in filling important interim management positions in various areas, especially in Finance & HR," he emphasises.
"We are proud of how positively our Berlin office has developed," explains Thomas Hoffmann, Director of the Hamburg, Frankfurt am Main & Berlin offices at Robert Walters.
"The Berlin office opened in August 2022. Since the opening, the team has grown continuously. We have successfully built a strong network and have already been able to support numerous companies in finding highly qualified professionals for their specific needs."
In the future, another focus of the newly created interim team will be on working with start-ups, especially in relation to HR issues. As business partners, interim managers with HR backgrounds offer them tailored advice and support for short-term projects, for example in the areas of Wellbeing or Learning & Development.
Rising fee volumes reflect the growing demand and high quality of interim professionals, as do the increased daily rates of interim managers. Current market data confirms the increased demand for staff: the number of advertised recruiting positions has increased by more than 10 % in the last six months compared to the previous six months, as has the number of accounting and bookkeeping positions. This increase underscores the high demand for skilled professionals in the region.
"In view of these developments, we see the expansion of our range of services to include interim management in Berlin as a solution that meets our needs. With Fabian Menzel at the helm, we are confident that we will be able to offer our local clients excellent service, continue our successful growth strategy and optimally meet the increasing demands of the Berlin market," says Hoffmann.
