My first contact with Robert Walters

After graduating from high school, I initially decided to study a technical subject, but I soon realised that I missed working with people. After a few detours, I began a dual study programme, working at the same time for a mobility company, and my talent for leadership and organisation quickly became apparent. Within just two and a half years, I worked my way up to branch manager, and shortly after completing my studies, I was entrusted with the deputy branch management of Cologne Airport, and from there I moved on to my first branch in Düsseldorf.

It was during this time that I first came into contact with Robert Walters. An interesting conversation and getting to know the team left a lasting impression on me. But first, I decided to take on a new challenge in Cologne. As the manager of one of the largest branches of my former company, I was able to prove my skills once again by successfully restructuring the branch and putting it on the road to success.

An encounter that opens up new opportunities

At some point, however, I was faced with the decision of whether to stay in the mobility industry or strike out in a new direction. I couldn't get the conversation with Robert Walters out of my mind, so I got back in touch – and within just two days, everything was decided. I had the phone call on Tuesday, the meeting with the management on Wednesday, and by that same evening I had accepted the offer.

It quickly became clear to me that Robert Walters was the perfect fit for me. I was particularly impressed by my colleagues' passion for supporting people in their career planning and the fact that both the client and the candidate are always the focus of attention. At Robert Walters, I immediately sensed that the values that are important to me are not only aspired to, but also lived out. From carnival dance group to sales success

I started at Robert Walters with the task of rebuilding the Sales & Marketing department in Düsseldorf. Although I already had management experience, I wanted to delve deeper into the subject matter and develop my professional skills. Today, I am a Senior Consultant and ready to build my own team. I am proud to be able to really help companies, especially when they urgently need support. My intuition for different personalities is particularly important to me in this regard. It's about recognising what really fits together.

For me, sales is more than just a job, it's a passion. Of course, there are also difficult phases, but these are precisely what make success all the more valuable. Slumps are thankless, I admit, but consistency and discipline pay off, whether at work or in your private life. I also live by this attitude outside the office, whether it's bodybuilding or in the carnival dance troupe. I know that you can only achieve your goals through continuous work.

Passion meets vision

I have big plans for the Düsseldorf office: I want to expand the team and inspire all employees with the same spirit that drives me. I believe in consistency, both within the team and in our collaboration with clients and candidates.
