What defines my role as a recruitment consultant

The most rewarding moment in my job? When a candidate receives an offer. Knowing that I’ve helped someone take a significant step forward—not just professionally but personally—is truly priceless. These moments remind me of the meaningful impact our work can have.

I also value the variety in my daily routine: visiting new companies, engaging with senior stakeholders, and gaining fresh perspectives through every conversation. No two days are alike, and each interaction offers unique insights. What fascinates me most is getting a behind-the-scenes look at diverse business models and understanding how they operate.

Lessons from my studies and career

After being promoted to Consultant while pursuing my master’s degree, I learned the importance of setting priorities and working systematically. In a dynamic environment like recruitment consulting, staying calm and tackling tasks one at a time is essential. Various tools, especially AI-driven solutions, help me minimize administrative work so I can focus on what truly matters: people.

Authenticity and building genuine relationships

In business, I firmly believe in authenticity and personal connections. That’s why direct interaction is irreplaceable for me. I always invite candidates for an in-person coffee chat at our office, accompany them to interviews on-site with clients, and meet my regional customers face-to-face whenever possible. Real encounters build trust and make a lasting difference.

My recipe for success

I may not be the most talkative person—learning small talk was a challenge—but I excel at listening and asking the right questions. Often, it’s these thoughtful conversations that make all the difference.
