Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement a multi-year security strategy aligned with business goals and stringent ECB regulatory requirements.
• Act as the authority on cyber security risk across IT and business functions within this system-relevant institution.
• Provide executive-level reporting on security posture and emerging risks.
• Drive continuous improvement using information security frameworks
• Manage audits, update policies, and oversee third-party risk processes.

What You Bring:

• Extensive leadership experience in information/cyber security within regulated industries such as banking.
• Strong knowledge of frameworks and European regulations (e.g., BaFin/ECB guidelines).
• Proven track record managing audits and remediation processes in systemically important organisations.
• Bachelor’s degree in information security required; advanced degrees and certifications (CISSP, CISM) preferred.
• Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
