Senior Project Manager (m/w/d) - Technology & IT Products

Join the Data Solutions - Systems + Processes Team of our client in Hamburg to digitize their Sea Logistics and contribute to the growth and further success.

Your role:

You own and drive, together with business and IT stakeholders, the relevant processes to implement new features for IT products and focus on speed and agility rather than following static plans.

Your tasks:

• Deliver excellent project management for our Data Solutions and technology products
• Understand, analyze and improve the existing end-to-end processes
• Manage the corresponding deliveries/subdeliveries incl. external partners and IT
• Deliver specific solutions to implement the identified requirements. This includes the development and continuous improvement of all relevant IT applications in the relevant business domains
• Examples for relevant domains are: Quoting & Pricing, Vessels & Voyages, Routings & Schedules, Booking
• Improve performance by monitoring and follow up of agreed targets and plans
• Close collaboration with Global Division Management, Global Trade Teams and Processes + Systems Teams

Your experience:

• Bachelor´s degree in Logistics/IT/Business Administration
• Professional experience in Logistics/Supply Chain Management is preferred
• Profound experience in Project Management
• International experience
• Profound experience in Sea Logistics experience, preferred Ocean Carrier experience
• Profound experience in IT
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, B2B integration
• very good communication skills, high degree of customer orientation and high flexibility, high degree of organizational skills, to be able to motivate others and get buy-in from stakeholders,
• to be able to work with other cultures and willingness to travel and participate at international meetings/workshops and conference calls out of the typical working hours
