Interim - Finance Project Manager (f/m/d)

Our client has announced having entered into exclusive negotiations with a competitor for the sale of an entity as the last divestment of their non-electrification activities as planned in the strategic road map since 2021. They 're currently running the social consultation process and getting regulatory approval targeting a closing by mid 2026. During this transition period, they plan to appoint an interim Finance Project Manager until the end of June 2026.

First tasks at hand: ▪ consult the finance function in the entity ▪ consultation of the management team members and functions, notably in cooperation with the CFO Further Info: ▪ Business 707 Million Euros revenue , 12000 people ▪ 22 plants/logistic centers in 9 countries ▪ 4 days on site in Oberpfalz / 1 day remote Purpose of the project: ▪ Ensures Group rules continuity during the transition ▪ Produce financial information and ensure continuity of Finance report- BG and local level ▪ Protects our clients best interests by challenging business assumptions ▪ Support Business Group management to execute budget of scope of responsibility (define and monitor action plans) ▪ Monitor Cash flows of the scope of responsibility ▪ Ensure local financial statement present a true and fair view of the entities ▪ Relay timely financial forecasts including risks & opportunities to Group ▪ Identifies & assesses risks & opportunities; mitigates risks, manages crisis ▪ Reports and explains in a fact-based and transparent manner his/her assessment of key compliance issues and control environment and involve in the contracts acquisition and tender process to ensure sustainability and further improvements of the business plan.
