An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Procurement Manager (m/f/d) to join a dynamic and globally recognised financial institution. This role is based in Frankfurt, Germany. The successful candidate will be part of an inclusive team that values collaboration and commitment, working together to build better financial futures for over 50 years. As a Senior Procurement Manager (m/f/d), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and monitoring the goods, services, or activities provided by the most critical third-party partners. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on the company's operational resilience and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do:
As a Senior Procurement Manager (m/f/d), your primary responsibility will be to oversee the goods, services, or activities provided by our most critical third-party partners. You will ensure compliance with our outsourcing policies while supporting local vendor managers. Your role will involve active management of contractual processes, relationship building with vendors, cost negotiation, supplier benchmarking, risk assessment reviews, as well as designing monitoring and reporting processes. You will also collaborate with dedicated second line of defence functions to strengthen Operational Resilience throughout.

* Establish, manage and support the development, implementation and embedding of third-party vendor management policies and framework within the business under consideration of regulatory impacts
* Actively manage contractual processes and relationships with the critical third-party vendors along the vendor lifecycle including regular governance reviews and assessment of internal impact
* Ensure that costs are negotiated charged correctly, consistently and managed at a reasonable level
* Support the onboarding processes of third parties, ensuring due diligence and necessary approvals
* Conduct ongoing supplier benchmarking or RFPs and financial and risk assessment reviews and manage issues
* Review and coalify supplier/materiality questionnaires
* Design and implement monitoring and reporting processes for various groups and internal Committees
* Prepare due diligence reports with recommendations for internal Committees
* Complete required reporting on supplier performance and third-party risks
* Collaborate with Business Process Owners to produce Exit Plans and align to strategy


What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Procurement Manager role will bring a wealth of experience in procurement and third-party risk management practices. You will have a strong academic background with a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Business Management, or a related field. Your proven commercial experience in supplier/vendor management will be crucial in this role. You will also possess an understanding of regulatory outsourcing and third-party risk management requirements. Your ability to build relationships and trust internally and externally, coupled with your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, will set you apart.

* University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Business Management, or related field of study
* A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in outsourcing and third-party risk management practices
* Proven commercial experience in supplier/vendor management
* Knowledge and understanding of regulatory outsourcing and third-party risk management requirements
* Ability to build relationships and trust internally and externally
* Understanding of Operational Resilience and vendor related regulatory requirements
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience of business process workflows
* Ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritise
* Excellent communication skills and it is in your nature to find pragmatic solutions
