Junior Fixed Income Trader – Treasury Department (m/f/d)

Main responsibilities:

• Support senior traders in executing fixed income trades across various products, including bonds, interest rate derivatives, and other fixed income instruments.
• Monitor global financial markets, analyze trends, and provide insights to support trading decisions.
• Assist in managing risk positions and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with treasury teams to optimize liquidity management and funding strategies.
• Prepare daily reports on trading activities, P&L performance, and market developments.
• Continuously learn and stay updated on market dynamics, trading strategies, and new technologies.

Expected profile:

• A degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field with strong quantitative skills.
• First experience of trading in banking or financial institutions is a must.
• A keen interest in financial markets, particularly fixed income trading and treasury operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities under pressure.
• Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of trading platforms or software is a plus.
• Fluent English is required; German language skills are an advantage but not mandatory. Ideally, with a B1-B2 German language certificate.
• A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
